(Laredo, Texas)-Election Day is on the horizon, and  United ISD is pleased to announce Rock the Vote registration drives on Thursday, September 29. 2016. Young people can have a positive impact on the future of our country, so United ISD encourages them to learn about the issues, the election process, and their right to vote.

      Every vote counts,whether it is in student council elections or the vote that determines our next president for the next the next four to eight years. Many United ISD seniors will cast their first votes in 2016, and  Rock the Vote will facilitate a most convenient way for our youngest citizens to register.  Rock the Vote registration stations will be open during lunch hours at the United ISD high school campuses listed below:

Alexander High School          11:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.  (cafeteria)

United High School                11:15 a.m.-  1:15 p.m.  (cafeteria)

 

United South High School     11:20 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. (cafeteria) 

L.B.J. High School                 11:20 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.  (cafeteria)
