Webb County Summer Camp Awards Ceremony to be held this Friday

(Laredo, Texas)-Webb County Commissioner Jaime Canales would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone who participated in the 6th annual “Wild About Academics” summer camps to a big “THANK YOU” awards ceremony.
The summer camps were held during the summer at different locations in precinct 4 and included seven weeks of activities as students enjoyed their summer vacation.
The final camp at Laredo Community College will end at noon Friday, August 12 at which time awards will be given to all those who participated. The presentation of awards will take place at the De La Garza Building, room 101.
Commissioner Canales would like to thank the teachers, speakers, volunteers, UISD, LISD, precinct 4 staff members, the City of Laredo, Laredo Community College and Webb County for giving our kids the opportunity to enjoy great fun, diversity and academics.
Commissioner Canales would also like to wish all our Laredo kids a prosperous 2016-2017 school year.
