(Laredo, Texas)-With their lunch in hand, families of Newman Elementary School enjoyed the annual family picnic and health fair where all enjoyed eating with their children. The event was all part of promoting the importance of parental involvement. This year the school added a health fair to inform parents of the different local health services available like: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Driscoll, Doctor’s Hospital, City of Laredo, and Miles of Smiles Dental.
