LBJHS STUDENT SIGNS TO PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

(Laredo, Texas) Lyndon B. Johnson High School student athlete Dafne Garibay signs a four-year scholarship to Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California. Garibay, a “forward” for the Lady Wolves Soccer Team, has landed this big milestone in her life after only being in the United States for three years. At the signing held at LBJHS she stated, “Anything is possible, it does not matter what language I speak or where I come from, but where I go and what I do from here on.”
Garibay was along side her parents Leticia Plata and Erick Garibay as well her siblings who mention to be extremely proud of Dafne. Her coach Steve Su and her teammates wish her the best of luck. Dafne Garibay will be pursing a degree in Business.
