UISD Participates in Cell Ban Pledge Event

(Laredo, Texas)- United ISD was asked to take part in the cell phone ban campaign committee, pledging not only to #getoffthephone, but to help promote the message of the City of Laredo cell phone ban ordinance that went into effect on February 3, 2016. Violators will face a $200 citation. The City of Laredo will promote this initiative through a media campaign that will include radio, TV, print and outdoor and other grassroots outreach to blanket the message across the community.
