MOVIE TO HELP PROMOTE BULLY AWARENESS AND PREVENTION

(Laredo, Texas)-In honor of Anti-Bully Awareness Week, November 15-21, the Laredo Chamber of Commerce Education Committee held a press conference to announce a community showing of the 2011 documentary, Bully. The movie details the lives of five students who are bullied and how they deal with their respective situations. The movie will be shown at the Alamo Drafthouse, November 10, 11 and 12. Tickets were sold by local school districts and the Laredo Chamber of Commerce. Pictured are City of Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz and, event organizers along with UISD Board President Javier Montemayor, Jr. and UISD’s Positive Behavior Intervention Facilitators.
