Laredo, Texas – The Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center (the Center) proudly announces an established agreement with the Pediatric Specialists of Texas, to conduct their weekly (every Tuesday) Outreach Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinics at the Center.
The Hematology/Oncology team at Pediatric Specialists of Texas is proud to offer their expertise in the diagnostic and therapeutic care of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Serving patients in San Antonio and Laredo, Texas, Dr. Jaime Estrada, Dr. Maria Falcon-Cantrill, and Dr. Gerardo Quezada provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to children and young adults with cancer, blood and immune disorders in fully bilingual clinics.
The Center also has partnerships with specialists from the University of San Antonio Health Science Center and with the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Houston to provide monthly diagnostic clinics in Pediatric/Orthopedic.
The Cowl Center continues to be the only non-for-profit out-patient rehabilitation facility within a 150 miles radius offering therapy services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, counseling, diagnostic clinics, transportation, and other medically prescribed services) to individuals regardless of age, origin, race, nationality, creed or economic status.
