Webb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrest wanted suspect

Laredo, TX (Webb County) – The Webb County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday arrested a local man who had evaded authorities since July 2015.
The W.C.S.O. Civil and Warrants division received information that led them to the suspect, Ramon Sepulveda-Gonzalez, 43, from the 800 block of Gonzalez Street. Deputies located him on the 2500 block of Santa Maria Avenue around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The warrant for his arrest was initially issued on July 24.
The suspect remains at the Webb County Jail on a $30,000 bond and is facing charges for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.
“Our deputies had been looking for this individual since the summer,” said Sheriff Martin Cuellar. “Thanks to the communities help we were able to track him down and bring him to justice.”
