US 83 traffic signal interconnect project resumes Sept. 14 for two weeks in Laredo

Prepare for 4 way stop & drive with caution
LAREDO, TX – Beginning Monday, September 14, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a duration of two weeks, Austin Traffic will perform traffic signal interconnect work on US 83 (Zapata Highway) between Cielito Lindo and San Eduardo Ave. in Laredo, Texas.
Work will consist of replacement of controller cabinets requiring a four-way stop traffic pattern for approximately two hours at each traffic signal intersection. Laredo Police Department police officers will assist while traffic signals are off.
The traveling public should be prepared to stop at intersections, observe all safety signs and traffic control devices and drive cautiously through the work zone.
