United ISD To Host Annual Marching Festival

(Laredo, Texas)-Anyone who loves to see a great music arts competition is invited to attend the United ISD Annual Marching Band Festival. The event will be held on Saturday, October 3 at the Student Activity Complex Stadium located at 5208 Santa Claudia Lane. Gates open at 3:00 p.m.
The schedule of performances will be as follows:
- 4:00 p.m. La Joya High School
- 5:45 p.m. Donna High School
- 6:00 p.m. Cigarroa High School
- 6:15 p.m. Martin High School
- 6:30 p.m. Lyndon B. Johnson High School
- 6:45 p.m. Alexander High School
- 7:00 p.m. United South High School
- 7:15 p.m. United High School
The award ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
“We invite the community to this event and enjoy an afternoon of great music,” said United ISD Fine Arts Director Javier Vera. “Each band works so hard to perfect their shows. They all do an outstanding job.”
Admission is $7.00 per person and children five and under will have free admission. All seats are general admission and may be purchased at the gate on the day of the event.
