Ronald McDonald House Charities Awards Scholarships to United ISD Students

(Laredo, Texas)-Academic achievement, the demonstration of leadership skills, and involvement in the community have garnered the attention of McDonald’s Restaurants of Laredo and Ronald McDonald House Charities, so much so that five graduating seniors from United ISD were named recipients of the RMHC scholarship. The students were honored at a ceremony held at McDonald’s on Jacaman Road. Each student received $2,000 from RMHC to pursue their higher education goals.
“We want our students to reach their fullest potential,” said McDonald’s representative at the event.
