ONE DAY CLOSURE OF US 57 (GARRISON ST.) BRIDGE AT UPRR TRACKS IN EAGLE PASS FOR BRIDGE REPAIR WORK

LAREDO, TEXAS – Weather permitting on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Gibson and Associates will perform bridge repair work on the US 277 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks in Eagle Pass. Work will include bridge bearing pad installation and replacement underneath the bridge. Limits of work are from 0.01 miles east of FM 1021 at the UPRR to 0.215 miles east.
Detours will be in effect:
– US 57 (Garrison St.) westbound traffic approaching the bridge please detour to US 277 (Main St.) for continued westbound travel to FM 1021 (Monroe St.)
– US 57 (Garrison St.) eastbound traffic approaching the bridge please detour to FM 1021 (Monroe St.) to US 277 (Main St.) for continued eastbound travel
The traveling public should slow down, drive with extreme caution and observe all safety signs and traffic control devices.
