Defendant pleads guilty to continuous sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography

(Laredo, Texas)-The Office of the District Attorney secured a guilty plea in its case against Juan Alberto Limon 48, for continuous sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography.
On June 12, 2014 a search warrant on child pornography was executed at the residence of Juan Alberto Limon by the Webb County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations. During the search, Limon was interviewed and admitted to downloading child pornography for the past two years. After a forensic analysis was conducted on Limon’s laptop, multiple videos and images surfaced of him sexually assaulting his 9-year-old step daughter.
On July 15, 2014 Limon was arrested and charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and four counts of possession of child pornography, both first-degree felonies in state of Texas.
Limon agreed to a plea deal where he will serve 50 years for continuous sexual abuse of a child and 20 years for each count of possession of child pornography in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division without parole. These sentences will run concurrent. He was sentenced this morning before the 49th District Court Judge Joe Lopez.
