Laredo, TX (Webb County) – A man from Boerne, Texas, known for stealing vehicles is arrested by Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies as he attempts to leave Laredo.
Over the weekend, deputies were dispatched to the IH-35 Border Patrol Checkpoint to assist BP Agents who had detained a male suspect traveling on a bus for suspicious behavior. When deputies arrived, they found David Glenn Bradshaw, 40, in possession of 9 Dodge Ram remote keys, 1 Jeep remote key, 2 unknown vehicle remote keys, a remote key programmer with extra vehicle modules, vehicle chip scanner, vehicle chip security calculator and several screwdrivers.
Upon further investigation, authorities discovered Bradshaw had been arrested at the same checkpoint by Webb County Sheriff Deputies in November 2014 for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle which was stolen out of San Antonio, Texas. Additional details indicated that Bradshaw had been arrested by another local law enforcement agency for stealing several vehicle keys from Sames Motor Company in the past.
As a result of Bradshaw’s extensive history of stolen vehicles, deputies arrested Bradshaw for Possession of a Criminal Instrument, 5 counts. He was transported to the Webb County Jail and released on a $50,000 bond.
