(Laredo, Tx)-Council member Roque,Vela inaugurated the Bartlett Soccer Complex, surrounded by City of Laredo staff, project architect and contractors, as well as the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas Troop 6193 who planted a tree in honor of local veterans.
“This project is important to our community, utilizing the detention pond that helps prevent flooding, for recreational purposes whenever possible,” said Cm. Vela. “Anytime we can improve our community and its quality of life at the same time, we have invested City funds wisely. I hope the community comes to take advantage of this beautiful natural space.”
