LAREDO, TX – Beginning Wednesday, December 10, 2014, motorists traveling FM 1472 (Mines Rd.) between Interamerica and Killam Blvd. can expect alternate lane closures. This traffic pattern will facilitate placement of barricades and concrete traffic barriers in preparation for the widening of the left turn lane at Killam Blvd. on southbound FM 1472 (Mines Rd.).
Advance message boards will be in place advising the traveling public of impending traffic pattern.
The traveling public is asked to slow down, drive with extreme caution, prepare to merge to open lane(s) and observe all safety signs and traffic control devices in the work zone.
