Role Models Read to Ruiz Students for National Picture Book Month

(Laredo, Tx)-Last week Ruiz elementary students Pre-K -5th grade got a special treat on November 12, 2014 when guest readers from our community narrated short story picture books in their classrooms. The activity was coordinated by Ruiz librarian Leticia Sanchez in conjunction with National Picture Book Month, an international literacy initiative that celebrates the print picture book during the month of November.
