Michigan State University Recruiter Guides UISD Migrant Students

(Laredo, Tx)-Mr. Elias Lopez, a recruiter from Michigan State University, recently visited Laredo to offer educational guidance to LBJ senior Zulema Lopez, who is planning to attend Michigan State University’s College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), in August of 2015. CAMP is an educational program that offers individuals with migrant or seasonal farm work backgrounds a unique opportunity to begin an undergraduate program in MSU.
This program offers the best conditions in order to help students. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Michigan State University’s CAMP Program is designed to service incoming migrant and seasonal farm worker students at Michigan State University. UISD Migrant Coordinator Veronica Burgoa arranged Mr. Lopez’ visit to the District.
