9th Annual Sames Auto Group Mission Give Laredo Drive for Bethany House

Laredo, Tx—Organizers are looking to Laredo and surrounding communities in support of the 9th Annual Mission Give Laredo collection drive this Saturday, November 22nd . Mission Give Laredo will take place at Sames dealerships located at the corner of IH35 and Mann Road.
With the growth in demand for services; and the demand in need to prepare for emergencies, organizers are encouraging the public to donate tax deductible monetary contributions and non-perishable foods, as an emergent need for Bethany House of Laredo.
The drive for support of the home is also open to donations of household items, blankets, clothing and miscellaneous donations.
“Thanks to the generosity expressed by citizens of this wonderful community and the continued support of our sponsors, Mission Give Laredo hopes to exceed last year’s collection in support of the efforts of the Bethany House”, stated Evelyn Sames, General Manager, Sames Ford.
This year marks the 9th year that Sames Auto Group has spearheaded the collection drive in an effort to promote quality of life and support for the Bethany House, a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless.

Founded over 30 years ago by Father Tom McNaboe and preceded by the late Barbara A. Kazen, Bethany House has served thousands in need and is in the process of a long awaited addition, which is scheduled to break ground in early 2014. The Barbara A. Kazen Center for Hope will also provide much needed services for women.
