“National School Bus Safety Week”

(Laredo, Tx)-The United Independent School District Transportation Department observed “National School Bus Safety Week” with LISD by participating in a bus parade that started at United ISD’s Student Activity Complex (SAC)and concluded at the LISD Civic Center. Each District transported students from their respective Districts to attend proclamation honors in the auditorium.
County Judge Danny Valdez and CountyCommissioner Cindy Liendo read the proclamation before an audience that included Superintendents from both Districts and state and local law enforcement officials. A big “thank you” goes out our bus drivers who safely transport our children to school every day.
