(Laredo, Tx)-On Thursday, September 18, 2014, County Court at Law #2 will hold their first graduation for the participants of the Juvenile Drug Treatment Court. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of all those involved in helping troubled youth, 8 participants will be honored at the county court at law #2 at 10 a.m. In attendance will be Webb County Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Magistrate, Youth Village, SCAN and the participants’ families.
Without the support of these departments, the 16 week treatment would be difficult, if not impossible for the youth to complete and maintain sobriety. This intensive program has just received an over $900,000 grant in order to serve over 200 youth within 3 years.
