Accelerated Reader Program for 2014-2015 Launched at DeLlano Elementary

(Laredo, Tx)-Each year, DeLlano elementary school holds an Accelerated Reader (A.R.), student rally to energize students for the new school year.
The celebration was held on September 22, 2014, and was highlighted by a performance featuring the De Llano Dolphin dancers. Special guests included UISD Lead Librarian Carmen Escamilla, the Alexander and United high school mascots, and H.E. Buddy. The A.R. program is designed to help students develop a love of reading and reach their A.R. goals.
