20th Annual Fishing Derby Announced

It’s Fishing Time: Webb County Judge Danny Valdez and various sponsors announced the 20th Annual Fishing Derby for students with special needs. The event gives students and their families an enjoyable day at Lake Casa Blanca State Park to catch fish.
Present at the press conference announcement were students and representatives from both United and Laredo Independent School Districts. The fishing derby will be held on May 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lake Casa Blanca State Park. The Judge thanked the various organizations that have helped make the event a success for the last 20 years.
