LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Energy Arena was transformed into psychedelic laser and music show Saturday evening as Paramount’s Laser Spectacular presented The Music of Pink Floyd in front of a live audience.
The smash hit multi-media laser and light show featured the music of Pink Floyd, carrying listeners away on a mind-expanding journey driven by cutting-edge effects, high-powered lasers, hi-def large screen video projection and special lighting effects for two hours and 20 minutes.
“Pink Floyd’s music is very dramatic and visual,” says Paramount’s producer Steve Monistere. “You can imagine images when you listen to Pink Floyd’s music. Without any lighting effects at all, there is still a show in your mind. Now imagine using lasers, lighting, video and other special visual effects to interpret what your mind is ‘seeing’, and that is why people love this show so much. It touches on all of their senses.”
“Both laser shows were fantastic this weekend with something for every type of fan,” said Xavier Villalon, general manager for the SMG-managed Laredo Energy Arena.
Every year Paramount incorporates new elements into the show, so expect new features. For details on the Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular go to www.laserspectacular.com.
