Laredo, TX – The City of Laredo Health Department (CLHD) wants to remind the public that rabies continues to be a local threat and that everyone needs to vaccinate their pets (3 months and older; or check with your veterinarian), either at their veterinarian’s office or at the Health Department. Pets also need to be registered with a microchip and be under the care of a veterinarian. For this reason, CLHD will be conducting a Rabies “Vacuna” Clinic on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Laredo Animal Care Facility located at 5202 Maher Avenue.
