(Laredo, Tx)-Ten exemplary U.I.S.D. middle school students were recognized during the February 2014 Outstanding 8th Graders of the Month ceremony. The ceremony was held at UISD’s Washington Middle School campus. Each honoree was recognized for achieving and maintaining high academic marks, setting a good example for peers and partaking in projects that benefit our community. The Outstanding 8th Grader of The Month program is sponsored in part by Friends of the Family, Webb County, KGNS-TV, Laredo C.W., Family Nissan, Laredo Medical Center and the Laredo Police Department .
