(Laredo, Tx)-City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas met with his old friend, Alejandro Fernandez, to present him as an ambassador of the Republic of the Rio Grande. Mayor Salinas and Fernandez reminisced about trips they took together while Salinas was stationed in Mexico and also asked for Fernandez’s family, especially, Don Chente. Fernandez smiled and said his father and brothers were all fine.
