Mayor Salinas and Mike Marasco visit Elderly Citizens

City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas, McDonald’s owner Mike Marasco and Brodita of Z-93 and Dave Gonzalez of Big Buck Country, visited the residents of the Senior Citizens’ Home, located at 602 Jarvis, to deliver gifts collected during their stint on the McDonald’s rooftop last week. Gifts included gift cards and blankets. Residents were treated to a cake and plenty of dancing with Mayor Salinas and company. For the past 22 years, Mayor Salinas has been camping out on the roof of various establishments around town to collect toys and other items for the needy at Christmas time.
