(Laredo, Tx)- If raising money for Christmas toys is a crime, then lock them up! Or better yet Bail them out! Today employees of United ISD complied with “warrants,” executed by United ISD Police Department in efforts to raise money for annual Christmas toy drive. Employees were served with a “warrant,” taken to the “UISD Jail House,” and stood before the “judge” to declare their innocence.
The minimum bail amount was set at $35.00, however it has been reported that the Dean of Magnet school of LBJ, Yesenia Sandoval, was charged with “Bullying” and posted a bail of $605.00. Principal of United Middle School, Rebecca Morales was charged with “Walking under the influence of Coffee” and posted a bail of $540.00. Operation “Jail & Bail” was a big success all thanks to the UISD employees and UISD Police Department for compiling and contributing for a great cause. As of now the amount collected is $7,800.00 and still pending several arrests.
