Borchers Elementary Honors Family Veterans…

(Laredo, Tx)-Students and staff members of Borchers Elementary (UISD) celebrated and honored veterans, for their patriotism, love of country, willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Honored Veterans were family members of the students of Borchers Elementary. The celebration lineup included performances by Kinder Students, choir performance, and the Boy Scouts Color Guard. The children received the opportunity to “pin” their special veteran. “I want to be a veteran like my grandfather one day, no matter how hard it is,” said 4th grade student Aaron Rodriguez.
