Trautmann Elementary Students Support Laredo Pink To Do Organization

(Laredo, Tx)- On Friday, October 11, Trautmann Elementary students partook in a
campus Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Walk. Each participating student donated
$1.00 to walk for a family member or friend who has been affected by Cancer.
Students were definitely in the pink and visibly enthused by the support
shown by community leaders who set aside time to join them for the walk.
The event raised approximately $900.00, which will be donated to the
non-profit Laredo Pink To Do Breast Cancer organization. Trautmann
Elementary Principal Ms. Zaida Gonzalez expressed her appreciation to
everyone who made the walk a resounding success.
“This event has helped us
raise a lot of money for a good cause and donations countinue to come in.
All of the money collected from this event will go to our local Laredo Pink
To Do Organization to support the great work they do for people in our
community”, she said.
