(Laredo, Tx)-Students of SGMS gathered in their gymnasium to enjoy a motivational pep rally spearheaded by reading pathfinder teacher, Mr. Gerardo Cadena. Their motivational theme pep rally was to promote “hard work pays off” filled with fun activities and performances.
Guest Speakers included, Mayor Raul Reyes of El Cenizo along with Commissioner Amanda Aguero of El Cenizo. Performances included School Cougar Dance and Cheer teams with guest performances by LBJ High School Color Guard, Band, Dance Troupe and Cheer Squad. To keep up with the momentum, Mr. Cadena featured positive video clips while the students performed skits, story readings and educational games.
“Students must be aware that success comes with paying your dues, an awesome school climate is the start of learner momentum,” said cadena, teacher and organizer of event.
