On Friday, City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas welcomed Fire Chief Steve Landin, Fire Marshall Andy Jimenez, and District Chief Eloy Vega, as well as members of the Fire Prevention Team for the City of Laredo Fire Department to proclaim the week of October 6-12 as Fire Prevention Week. Firefighters will be visiting various schools next week to talk about fire safety.
