UNITED ISD Police Department Presents Newest Member

(Laredo, Tx)-United ISD Police Department is pleased to present the arrival of their newest Addition, “Police Officer Mascot.” All UISD Elementary Schools, grades Kinder through 3rd are encouraged to enter the “Name Police Mascot Contest.”
It starts Today Tuesday, September 17th and ends Friday, October 4th. The Winner of the contest will be awarded a “class” pizza party and the Mascot will be introduced to the entire class.
“The Administrative Police Team worked eagerly for six months to design their new mascot, which will be utilized for all Elementary School events,” said Interim Chief,
Clemente Camarillo. He proudly added, “ We are committed to providing a safe learning environment for all students and staff members that is conducive to learning.”
The United ISD Police Department continues to stay proactive by aiding in the development and implementation of a well-defined plan to promote discipline and
safety while preventing drugs and violence on our campuses. The Department works closely with all local municipal police departments as well as state and Federal agencies.
