United ISD’s Federal & State Compensatory & Migrant Education Programs Announce a Special Health Fair

(Laredo, Tx)-Representatives from United ISD’s Federal & State Compensatory & Migrant Education Programs announced a special Health Fair exclusively for Migrant, McKinney Vento, and Colonia families. The event will be held on August 21 at the LIFE Downs Pavilion located on U.S. Hwy 59 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Limited immunizations for migrant students, blood sugar tests, blood pressure checks and dental screenings are among the services that will be provided at no cost. In addition, school backpacks will be distributed to participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information, call (956) 473-6471 or 473-6472.
