United High School Senior Signs Sports Scholarship for Clarendon College

(Laredo, Tx)-The District’s heartiest congratulations go out United High School senior Joel Garza , who signed a Baseball Scholarship for Clarendon College In Amarillo, Texas. Garza has participated in varsity baseball at United High School for the past four years and has been the 295-A District M.V.P. Coach J.J. Gomez called Garza a versatile player and hard worker who has “steadily improved his game over time”.
Joel’s ambition is to play in the major leagues or to enter the field of physical therapy. “ I want to thank everyone who has helped has helped me along the way, especially my family, friends and coaches” said Garza. “This is a big step forward for me and playing at the college level is going to be really exciting”, he concluded.
