NHS Thespian Club to perform encore presentation of The Boys Next Door

(Laredo, Tx)- The J.W. Nixon Thespian Club will host an encore presentation of “The Boys Next Door” by Tom Griffin. The encore shows will be on Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 26, at 3:00 p.m. at the Laredo Little Theater. The performances are one of the last fundraisers for the club in preparation for their trip to Scotland.
The Thespian Club cast will be traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland, to participate in the 2013 American High School Theater Festival (AHSTF) Fringe. The group will perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world’s largest performing arts festival, in Scotland this coming summer as part of the AHATF program.
Tickets for the show are $10 for general admission. All proceeds will benefit the Nixon Mustang Thespian Society’s trip and performance at the Fringe Festival.
Throughout the year, the cast has held various fundraisers including a bowling tournament, “Elephant Man” performance, and hosting concession stands. The Club is under the direction of Jose A.
