Please slow down, drive cautiously and expect delays

 LAREDO, Tx – Weather permitting on Thursday, May 16, 2013 beginning at 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013, alternating lane closures are planned for north- and southbound Loop 20 traffic, for both north and south of the Loop 20-SH 359 intersection, to facilitate the channelization of traffic onto the newly constructed Cuatro Vientos Loop 20 overpass effective Friday, May 17, 2013.

 The new overpass will connect present Loop 20 (Bob Bullock Loop) traffic with the southern extension of Loop 20 better known as Cuatro Vientos Road, a seven mile road and relief route to US 83 South which opened July 18, 2011.

 Cuatro Vientos Interchange (Loop 20-SH 359) construction activities will continue on frontage roads and other areas of the project until its full completion.

 Motorists should slow down, drive cautiously and expect delays.

 The travel public is encouraged to observe all advance warning signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
