Alexander High School Senior Signed to TAMIU Baseball Scholarship

(Laredo, Tx)-Congratulations to Alexander High School (A.H.S.) senior Danny Benavides, who recently signed a baseball scholarship for TAMIU. Benavides’ enthusiasm for baseball began many years ago, when he played for the Del Mar Little League and Pony League teams. Head Coach Mario Garcia described Benavides as a great asset to the A.H.S. baseball team. “He was a three year starter for us on three deep playoff wins. All of us wish him the best of luck as he plays on the next level at TAMIU” said Garcia. Benavides’ future plans include obtaining a degree in Kinesiology.
