Traffic Stop Leads to Drugs

(Laredo, Tx)-A self initiated traffic stop by Lindenwood and Sandy Ln leads to drugs. The patrol officer who made the stop smelled narcotics permeating from the car and noticed the suspects suspicious behavior. A K-9 was requested and then shortly after Narcotics also responded to this call. A black backpack containing numerous bags of white powdery substance and marijuana (108 grams-cocaine, 2 gams of Marijuana), and US currency were found, Juan Carlos Karns was taken in for booking.
