Police Recover Stolen Van

(Laredo, Tx)-On March 13th, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Laredo Police Department Communications Center received a call of a robbery that had just occurred by N. Canada and Galveston. The male caller reported that a known male suspect had threatened him and stolen his white Ford Astro van. He described it as white van with a ladder on the top and the word “roofing” on the side, he stated that it was last seen heading towards Arkansas. He also stated that the suspect made a threat and that he possibly had a weapon but that he never did actually see it. A look out of the van was given over the police radio.
At approximately 8:19 p.m., patrol units stop the stolen van matching the description by the intersection of Soria and Asturias. One suspect, identified as Emmanuel Lauriano, is subsequently arrested and charged with the robbery Felony 2 and was additionally arrested for an outstanding warrant for theft by an outside agency.
