Female Powerlifter and USHS Students Takes 8th at State

United South High School Senior Kassandra Leal competed at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Powerlifting Championships at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi on Saturday. Leal competed against the strongest girls in the State of Texas and placed 8th overall. She was the only lifter representing the United Independent School District and finished with combined lifts of 885 lbs. She finishes out the year as the most decorated female powerlifter in USHS history.
