(Laredo, Tx)-This week City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas welcomed representatives from SCAN as well as SCAN Junior Representatives from Alexander High School for a very important topic and proclamation: teen dating violence. The month of February was proclaimed as ‘Teen Dating Violence Month’ by Mayor Salinas and Webb County Judge Danny Valdez, who were also joined by Webb County Attorney Marco Montemayor Statistics have shown that it is important to inform teenagers of what a violent relationship is and that there are people to help and support them.
