Memorial Middle School Cheerleaders Garner National Title at American Cheer Power

(Laredo, Tx)-The Memorial Middle School cheerleaders won National Champions in the junior high non-tumbling division at the 201 American Cheer Power National Championship.
The American Cheer Power Southern National Championship was held in San Antonio, Texas at the Alamo dome February 8-10. Over 300 schools and all-star cheer teams competed in the event.
The Memorial Middle School cheer team consists of 23 middle school girls in grades 6th-8th. The girls who have performed at other events such as the WBCA Song and Dance Festival are under the direction of Memorial Middle School Cheer and Dance Sponsor Erica Rodriguez.
