George Washington Visits Students At Fasken Elementary School

(Laredo, Tx)-“When was George Washington born?” “Where is his birth place? “ And, “how many siblings did he have?” was just some of the information shared with students at Fasken Elementary School by Tad Deutsch, who will portraying George Washington for 2013 during the WBCA festivities. Deutsch spoke to 1st – 5th grade students in the gifted and talented program in the school’s library. He spoke at length about the life of George Washington and the accomplishments he achieved as the nation’s first president. Students were also able to ask questions at the presentation.
