South Texas Revolution Makes a “Slam Dunk” Appearance at Gutierrez

(Laredo, Tx)-The new South Texas Revolution Basketball Team had the crowd on their feet as they paid a visit to Gutierrez Elementary this morning to introduce themselves to students, as well as, the community. Part of the newly formed American Basketball League, STR is one of six basketball teams from Texas and six from Florida . The team will be based in Laredo and will play their first game on Sunday at Texas A&M International University against Twin City United. The team looks forward to playing in Laredo and hopes many basketball enthusiasts and fans will cheer them on at this Sunday’s game.
I am the proud father of Kevan Proctor Jr. Kevan is one of the newly acquired players of the South Texas Revolution. These are exciting times for my son,and of course his family shares in his endeavors. It has been difficult getting information concerning the team, I suppose its due to the fact that this is all new. I look forward to following the team as the season unfolds. Given the fact we reside in New York, we are unable to attend the games. Any info relevant to the league and the team would be greatly appreciated. I was born in Port Arthur, Tx. as was all of my family.
