Stripes Robber Arrested

As reported earlier this week on Tuesday, February 03, 2009, at approximately 3:19 am, an unknown male subject entered the Stripes on 3410 N. Arkansas Ave and pointed a handgun at Store Clerk. The unknown male subject demanded the money from the cash register and the clerk handed him about $30.00 for fear of serious bodily injury or death. The unknown male subject stole the money and drove away in his vehicle.

An investigation was conducted, which lead to Roy Jonathan Trejo. Roy J. Trejo was brought in for investigation of this robbery and Trejo eventually confessed to the aggravated robbery on 3410 N. Arkansas Ave.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at approximately 9:40 am, a Warrant #9297 was issued for Aggravated Robbery F/1 (Case #09-4080) and Justice of the Peace Oscar Liendo issued a $100,000 bond. The detective executed the warrant at the Webb County Jail.
