US 83 Lane Closures

Effective December 17-19, 2008
US 83 at Wooster and Mercer in south Laredo-Webb County

     To facilitate the painting of pavement markings to include
painting of stop bars, solid lines, crosswalks, arrows, words, etc. at
both intersections (US 83 / Wooster & US 83 / Mercer).

Weather permitting; the above proposed work will be performed by Star Operations thereby requiring alternating lane closures along US 83 in the vicinity of the intersections of Wooster and Mercer streets. 

US 83 traffic should be prepared to merge. 

The traveling public is asked to drive with extreme caution, and
observe all safety signs, traffic control devices and flaggers in the
work zone area.
