3 counts of Indecency with a Child F/2

2 counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault F/1  

            Today LPD Special Investigations Detectives secured warrants for 3 counts of Indecency with a Child F/2 and warrants for 2 counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault F/1. Combined total bond was $700,000 which was set by Judge H. Liendo for Luis Rolando Garcia, 04-22-70. In January 2009 a victim stated to police alleging that he was abused by Luis Rolando Garcia who is employed by the City Of Laredo Fire Department. The alleged abuse took place when the victim was between the ages of 10 and 13.  The victim is now an adult.  The case was thoroughly investigated and the detectives found enough to merit the warrants of arrest.  The alleged abuse did not occur during the suspect’s capacity of his work as a Laredo Fireman.  Garcia turned himself in after he was notified of the arrest warrants at LPD headquarters.
