Award winning Texas drama AUGUST EVENING opens in Laredo starting Friday, November 7

LAREDO, TX- 2008 Independent Spirit Award winner AUGUST EVENING comes home to Texas!

The touching Texas drama AUGUST EVENING follows an aging undocumented worker, Jaime, and his young widowed daughter-in-law, Lupe, as their lives are thrown into upheaval. Filmed on location in rural south Texas, Director Chris Eska calls his film "a love letter to San Antonio and my hometown of Gonzales."

Starring Laredo native Pedro Castaneda and Veronica Loren from McAllen.
